Château d’Arche in Sauternes launches “Whisky d’Arche”
Château d’Arche, a Grand Cru Classés of Sauternes, will launch its Whisky d’Arche during Vinexpo Bordeaux. It is a five-year-old blended malt whisky with six months’ finish in Château d’Arche’s barrels. It’s the first time that a Grand Cru Classés in Bordeaux has elaborated a whisky from end to end.
Whisky d’Arche is a selection of both French and American matured malts, and first fill ex-Bourbon casks in Scotland for five years’ bottling in an “amphora bottle”.
