Lagavulin releases whisky to commemorate the 22nd anniversary of the Islay Jazz Festival
To mark the 22nd anniversary of the Islay Jazz Festival this year, Lagavulin has released a limited edition 22-year-old single malt whisky. Lagavulin is a Scotch whisky brand owned by Diageo.
The newly unveiled liquid named Lagavulin Jazz 2020. The Islay Jazz Festival will be held in an online format this year, on 3rd October. Musical performances, exploration of the connection between jazz and whisky, and showcasing of whisky-based cocktails will be the feature of the festival.
Lagavulin Jazz 2020 has been matured in refill American and European Oak casks, and some of which have been seasoned with wine. Endowed with an ABV of 52.6 percent, the whisky has been made available across 2004 bottles.
Lagavulin Jazz 2020 can be purchased from 3rd October from the Lagavulin Distillery on Islay, at RRP 526 USD per 700ml bottle.
