Sixth Spiritz Awards The suspense continues
In keeping with the spirits of our times, the sixth bumper edition of Spiritz Awards will have many firsts to its credit. For starters, we attracted enthusiastic participation from top-notch Indian & foreign companies. The contest was fierce for the Gold & Silver awards in 10 categories. The task of selecting the winners was a long and painstaking but also an enjoyable and enriching affair for the 12-member jury panel.
The brainstorming for the 2019 Spiritz Awards commenced at 11 am in Hilton Garden Inn, New Delhi Saket. The 11 wise men & a wise lady of the jury scrutinised each and every nomination in detail, checked and then submitted facts & claims, examined bottles, packaging, promotional materials as well as campaigns to arrive at their individual decisions.
Vigorous discussions ensued; points & counterpoints were made, which were being accepted or rejected by other jury members. The air was rife with exchange of thoughts and animated arguments. In case of many contrasting opinions, Jury Chairperson Jolly Bhargava played the gate-keeper par excellence.
Each jury member ranked each nominee individually and respective sheets were submitted to Spiritz team for the final tabulation. This year’s edition of awards too is expected to spring surprises like that of in the 2018 edition of the awards. Last year, some big players were pipped to the post by relatively new ones.
We will have to wait till the sealed envelopes are opened at the gala 2019 Spiritz Awards night and let us assure you that some nail-biting finishes are likely to celebrate the spirit of suspense that would be floating through the air.
