Skyy Vodka unveils innovative new recipe and design
Campari Group-owned Skyy Vodka has unveiled a complete brand overhaul, including a new, modern pack design and liquid refresh formulated to enhance the vodka + soda.
To achieve the final product, Skyy collaborated with a diverse collective of experts including chemists, professional bartenders, and a water sommelier.
The new liquid uses water sourced from the San Francisco Bay Area in the US, which is ‘enriched with minerals’. These minerals are said to impart a ‘subtle salinity and minerality’ to the vodka, and have been introduced to enhance the mouthfeel and taste of a vodka and soda.
Skyy’s refreshed packaging design is also inspired by the natural beauty of the San Francisco Bay Area. The new bottle is a lighter, more natural blue tone, with ripples and ridges that reflect the waves of the Pacific Ocean. The fresh and vibrant new pack also includes a modernized, restyled white logo.
Bottled at 40 percent ABV, it is available at retailers nationwide for a suggested retail price of US$12.99 per 750ml bottle.
