Kentuky-based Wild Turkey is releasing its oldest rye whiskey that it had ever sold. Named Cornerstone Rye, it will be the fourth release in Wild Turkey’s Master’s Keep Series.

According to the distillery, for making this whiskey, the Master Distiller Eddie Russell has hand-picked and set aside a secret lot of his oldest and boldest rye whiskey barrels, which entails every drop of rye in this bottling ranges between nine and eleven years old.

The heady offering comes across as a 109 proof rye with 54.5 abv. It is wafted with “aromas of vanilla, black pepper and toasted rye that gives way to cascading flavours of honey and baked apple before a long and lingering finish of spice and oak.”

Approximately 16,000 bottles of Cornerstone Rye will be floated in the market. Each one will have a retail price of 170 USD for a 750 milliliter bottle.
