Speaking on the occasion, Peter Gordon, Company Director, William Grant & Sons India & Grand Master of the Quaich said, “My great grandfather Charles Gordon, the son in law of our founder William Grant, first came to India in 1909 to set up distribution networks here for our whisky portfolio. We still have the original letters that he sent back to Scotland which show the passion and dedication he displayed to build the business here. With Scotch whisky only, accounting for 1% of the total whisky market in India today, that same passion and dedication still exists amongst the employees of Scotch whisky companies who are operating in this market.  We, at William Grant & Sons, salute the contribution of these modern-day pioneers to the Scotch Whisky Industry and are delighted to co-host this evening today to honour them”.

The evening was truly a grand affair, with serving of award winning Scotch Whisky brands, pipers and plenty of toasts, making it an enthralling experience for everyone present!
